1996, ANTiSEEN, Sick Things guest Michael Bruce

AntiSeen - Here To Ruin Your Groove CD, 1996
"Sick Things" with guest lead guitar Michael Bruce

AntiSeen is a great garage band and at one point some of them backed GG Allin as The Murder Junkies
On this CD they cover "Sick Things" that includes guest on lead guitar Michael Bruce
This is a very good version of "Sick Things" that Michael Bruce performs
at his classic best. The intro of this song is the
intro from "Lay Down And Die, Goodbye".
AntiSeen even covers "Needle And The Spoon" from Lynyrd Skynyrd
They re-released this CD in 2003 with 2 bonus tracks.

2014, Gilbert Gottfried's Podcast, Mickey Dolenz

I stumbled across this site of Gilbert Gottfried one of my favorite stand - up comedian
who has a podcast. In this episode Gilbert interviews Monkees Mickey Dolenz
who talks very brief about The Hollywood Vampires
in 41:50 of interview.
The whole interview is very good if you are a Monkee fan.

Santa Claws Is Coming To Town, an Alice Cooper fan video

I always enjoyed Christmas Eve as a kid. It's the anticipation of
Christmas morning viewing all the new toys under the tree.
Christmas Eve was really big in our family I think it's
being raised in an Italian up bringing with family and food.
Then heading over to Midnight Mass and everyone's clothes smelled
of food they cooked that night.
I guess it's like Alice Cooper saying "School's Out" is 3 minutes
before the bell rings.

From 2008, CD
"We Wish You A Metal Xmas And A Headbanging New Year"

Here is a cool video from an Alice Cooper fan
using the 2005 horror film "Santa's Slay" for
"Santa Claws Is Coming To Town"

Santa Alice a homemade version

A while back I found on some random radio website
Toy-A-Day which they displayed Alice Cooper.
Well I saved it and will post it later but I did
a Christmas version. I hope this works out.

2014, Decibel Geek interviews Paul Taylor

Decibel Geek
has a great interview with Paul Taylor
who played with Alice Cooper during Nightmare Returns Tour
Raise Your Fist And Yell and at that time he was known as Paul Horowitz.
Also played with Alice on and off from '96 - '98.

Besides Alice Cooper, Taylor talks about his career playing with a number of musicians
Aldo Nova, Winger, Steve Perry, Tom Keifer and many more.
Paul also wrote the theme song for TV series Sabrina The Teenage Witch
among a number of other TV shows he list off.

2007, Designer John Varvatos

I found these 2 photos on line from
Designer John Varvatos
of Alice Cooper.

I am not sure if these photos appeared in any magazines
but they are amazing images of Alice Cooper.

A dapper Alice w/ cane sitting down as a hugh python wrapped around him.
Second photo reminds me of an Alice concert w/ snake
slithering over his face.
Both outstanding photos to be hanging on any wall.

I don't know how many photos were produced but would like
to see the contact sheets.

Happy Birthday Dennis Dunaway, Pre-order his Book

Pre-order Dennis Dunaway's book on
his life in Alice Cooper titled
"Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs!
My Adventure in The Alice Cooper Group"
by Dennis Dunaway and Chris Hodenfield

From St. Martin's Press
Hardcover
6 1/8 x 9 1/4 inches
304 pages, Plus one 8-page

I am really looking forward to reading his book. In past
interviews Dennis Dunaway has said between himself and his wife Cindy who was
the band's costume designer and the Dancing Tooth/Nurse during those concert tours
always kept a diary and scribbled down notes of the conversations during those times.

I read both "Me, Alice" and "Golf Monster" from Alice Cooper and
Michael Bruce "No More Mr. Nice Guy" it will be good to hear another
perspective from Dennis Dunaway.
I just hope the publisher doesn't homogenize it.

2008, We Wish You A Metal Xmas And A Headbanging New Year CD

"Santa Claws Is Coming To Town" by Alice Cooper, John 5,
Billy Sheehan, Vinny Appice

Looking for that special stocking stuffer for someone.

All Star metal guest produced by Bob Kulick and Brett Chassen.
Bob Kulick who put out many of the tribute CDs.
I’m not much into Holiday soundtracks by rock artists.
Did you ever listen to Billy Idol’s Christmas album? Man! That’s one brutal collection of
holiday music gone bad. But this Metal Xmas is just amazing.

In the intro of
"Santa Claws Is Coming To Town"Alice pretends to be a kid writing
a letter to Santa Claus as he starts to spell out loud

S-a-n-t-a -C-l-a-w-s, Santa Claws...

The music sounds like a chase scene in a Halloween movie.
As Alice sings

“...he knows where you live,
he knows that your window is open,
he knows what’s under your bed…”
,

while John 5 plays a sinister guitar, Billy Sheehan on bass and Vinny Appice on drums.

The rest of the CD is just as good.

Opening CD starts w/ a typical a wholesome Lawrence Welk choir singing “We wish you a Merry Christmas" that gradually switches to “We wish you a Metal Christmas” sung by Jeff Scott Soto.
Run Rudolph Run” sounds like Chuck Berry is backing Lemmy on guitar. Matter of fact it’s ZZ Top, Billy Gibbons on guitar and Foo Fighters David Grohl on drums.
Dio sings “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” that sounds like it came from the “Holy Diver” album.
I also love Ripper Owens’ “Santa Claus Is Back In Town".
Testament’s Chuck Billy singing “Silent Night” is hardcore metal with just amazing guitar works by Anthrax Ian Scott and Shadow Falls Jon Donais.
Deep Purple/ Rainbow Joe Lynn Turner rocks out w/ “Rockin Around The Xmas Tree
The only weak track is Styx, Tommy Shaw on “Happy Xmas (war is over)”.
This is one xmas CD I’ll be playin’ every season.

Not sure if they still do it but this CD came with a cardboard cover
that slide over the jewel case.
