Rolling Stone Full Page Ads

I received these 2 ads in a trade of some sort.
Muscle of Love and Greatest Hits album release Ad.
Greatest Hits includes the top Rolling Stone Header but Muscle of Love is cut off.
I gather it's from the same publication since it's around the same size.

1983, Gentlemen Afterdark

Since I listed below Alice w/ The Beat Angels I figure might as well introduce you to Brian Smith's previous band Gentleman Afterdark from 1983. Only 4 tracks and very new wave. Alice and Dick Wagner produced the EP. Dick Wagner was more the producer. I remember reading in an article somewhere that Alice said he just gave his input on what sounded good.
I didn't know anything about this recording until I was taking my dog to the Vet. While in the waiting room looking through some magazines that I came across this full page photo of Alice w/ Gentlemen Afterdark. I believe this was from People magazine.

Also good to point out Beat Angels co-wrote "Sideshow" on The Last Temptation album.
Brian is also a writer who wrote the liner notes in Billion Dollar Babies Deluxe Edition.
Brian Smith used to write for a Phoenix, AZ newspaper during his Beat Angel days. He went by the name Bill Blake.

1998, AMC Opening

On April 3, 1998 was The Grand Opening of AMC Arizona Center 24 Theaters appearance by Steven Seagal and Alice Cooper.

Alice performs 2 songs w/ The Beat Angels “No More Mr Nice Guy” and “Jailhouse Rock”.

The Beat Angels performed after Alice's 2 numbers.

I lost contact w/ this guy who lived in AZ., that I use to trade audios and videos w/ during this time. He took a few photos although some seem dark. He told me another person was suppose to video tape this show but arrived late.

2000, Brutal Planet Press Kit

I believe this is the last press kit of Alice Cooper I have found at the collectible shows.
Brutal Planet is an excellent recording that is close to Industrial Rock. Alice just left his short lived Guardian label to Spitfire that lasted up to Dragontown recording.

This press kit is small w/ 1 black & white photo of Alice. 4 photocopy pages include bio and about Brutal Planet album.

2003, Hampton Club Casino, N.H.

October 21, 2003 - The Hampton Club Casino, N.H.

I couldn't believe Alice performed at The Hampton Club Casino in New Hampshire. It's a small place and during this time Alice was doing his Bare Bones Tour although I notice on SickThingsUK they list it as The Eyes of Alice Cooper Tour. I say Bare Bones because a friend worked backstage gave me his pass the day after the concert along w/ a concert t-shirt. Maybe they just had a few Bare Bones passes left over  and used them up during The Eyes of Alice Cooper Tour.

This was the first time I ever made it to the front of the stage at an Alice Cooper concert. It wasn't a big crowd I don't know if it was because of being in October the off season. Hampton Club Casino is along the beach is a very crowded area during the summer. I was actually in ear shot distance to Brian Nelson but didn't want to bother him. He was very busy running around on stage setting things up.
It was an great show w/ limited theatrics because the stage is small. I remember my friend who worked there told me that previously I think it could of been Brutal Planet tour they tried to get Alice to perform but when Alice's people came down to check it out they said the stage was too small to fit all the props.
But it was good for them to comeback when Alice did a stripped down version and just played songs. Of course Alice used the smaller props like sword and such.

1999, Welcome To My Nightmare DVD, Rhino Press Kit

Rhino release of "Welcome To My Nightmare" on DVD.
I notice this version was edited. I compared it to the original VHS that came out in 1975. Example during "Some Folks" they edit out the dancers w/ the white cane between their legs while the other dancers perform oral sex.  "Department of Youth" they censoring out the word "hell" in the song. When Alice sings the line "...Hell that doesn't matter...".At the time I asked Brian Nelson and was told that this may have been the only print Rhino had to copy of. My opinion is this is about the time Alice was becoming a little strict w/ his religious beliefs. 
I know he said there were certain songs he would never sing on stage. He may have had second thoughts when viewing this during the commentary and had them edit out. What I did like on the DVD is the the commentary with Alice and his assistant the late Brian Nelson as they walk you through the whole concert. I found this very funny such as when the Cyclops comes out Alice interjects "If we came out with a kitchen sink we would still get the same effect". The DVD also includes an interview with Alice Cooper. I would suggest to get the DVD for the extras but see the '75 VHS for the concert.

This press Kit includes one photo and a slide. Unfortunately I don't have a backlight so the scan of the slide is very bad. I added it in since you may be able it make out.
