1975, Creatures Of My Nightmare, bootleg

Recorded 1975 in California for a King Biscuit Flower Hour this is of course an edited version of the concert of "Welcome To My Nightmare". An incorrect track No. 10 
is "I Love The Dead" not "Escape" as printed.  
This is the start of Alice's solo career as he tours with a new backing band: 
Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter - guitars, Prakish John - bass, 
Pentti "Whitey" Glan - drums, Jozef Chirowski - keyboards.

From 1977, TEEN Magazine this was given to me by my brother's girlfriend
who knew I was an Alice Cooper fan.

This is an interesting article which Alice talks about his new "Lace & Whiskey" album to be released in the summer. Alice is quoted as "The best of the songs that never got recorded."
Stating the "Lace & Whiskey" album are the best songs from his last 3 albums.
It's funny reading what Alice says in '77 to what he comments on now.

Middle column 3rd paragraph down Alice mentions of working w/ Bernie Taupin on a screenplay. Now this is way before Alice went into rehab and came out w/ From The Inside album. So I wonder what it was?

Alice also talks about the Mae West film  "Sexette" and Kurt Vonnegut's "Breakfast of Champions" that never happened.

This was actually taken from "Billion Dollar Babies" quadraphonic recordings "Fearless" LP.
They only mixed up the tracks and doesn't include "Mary Ann" that is on that album.
Plus a few multiple tracks of songs and an incomplete "I'm Flash" that was on "Fearless" LP.

This article in Circus, 1977 talks about the filming of a 90 minute network special 

that we later will know as "Alice Cooper & Friends" on video.

"Friends" were Sha Na Na, Nazareth, and The Tubes.

This video only showed a part of Alice's "King of The Silver Screen" Tour 

which I would love to see a complete version of this concert.

Promoting the "Lace & Whiskey" album that he talks about in this article.

Ends w/ the civil suit info by former girlfriend Cindy Lang.

Some good pics. I believe this is the first time I ever seen a picture of

Alice's parents at bottom of page 41. I know there were earlier photos 

of them that I later found.

The King Snake, Bootleg

Talk about a fountain of misinformation this bootleg is noted as 

being “recorded live in the USA 1969 - 1970” this really should read 1971, 1973 - 1978.

Taken from 2 live shows and a quadraphonic recording.

“Ballad of Dwight Fry” isn’t even listed as it follows track 3 “Second Coming”.

1976, Super Rock Interviews Alice Cooper

Another article that was torn out of Super Rock magazine. But w/ my deductive reasoning
it seems to be in 1976. I'll point out the clues that draw me to this conclusion.

These dates are from Australian Nightmare Tour 1977

that was scheduled from March 14th to April 14th.

The column of text next to that photo talks about

"Go To Hell" (should read "Goes To Hell").

Alice co-host w/ Diana Ross that "aired a few weeks earlier."

This Awards show was aired live on Sept., 18, 1976.

Near end of last column Alice mentions his next album entitled 

"Whiskey and Lace". I don't know if that was a writers typo or Alice's working title.

It's funny that Alice says it's "a real rocker, like the old albums"

I wonder what albums he was comparing it too?

August 1976, CIRCUS issue is about Alice's new album "Alice Cooper Goes To Hell"

a very underrated album. Unfortunately Alice ended up becoming ill during this time and he

never toured to promote the album. He rested a year or so and started on his next

"Lace And Whiskey" album.

I believe that's why there is a lot of old photos of Alice in this article.

Full page image on page 25 may be the most current photo of Alice at that time.
