1970, ZAPPED, various artists

I purchased this lp at a used vinyl shop back in the 80's for $2.
Originally this 1970, ZAPPED album was actually a mail order item for $1
by Warner Brothers label.

discogs.com gives a good description:
"From early in 1969 to 1977 Reprise Records (and their parent label Warner Bros. Records) ran a USA & Canada only mail-order promotion on a number of the inner sleeves of their mainstream artist's releases. This was to promote a wide range of less popular artists on compilation albums known as the 'Loss Leader' PRO series, sold at a significantly reduced mail-order price.
This Frank Zappa-oriented release is part of the series, although this particular compilation is also geared to promoting both the artists 'signed' to Zappa and the two labels, Straight and Bizarre Records, which Zappa co-founded with Herb Cohen. These two labels were manufactured and distributed by Reprise Records.
The black & white cover of this PRO 368 release is a collage of Zappa & Straight artists and the title is "Zapp├ęd" with an accent over the 'e' (unlike a previous similar PRO 368 release with a Zappa photo cover & 'Bizarre' label). This vinyl's label is Reprise Records. Track titles are also different to the earlier release, which promoted three Straight singles."

1. Alice Cooper – Titanic Overture
2. Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band – The Blimp (Mousetrapreplica)
3. Judy Henske And Jerry Yester – Horses On A Stick
4. Tim Buckley – I Must Have Been Blind
5. Wild Man Fischer – Merry-Go-Round
6. Alice Cooper – Reflected
7. Tim Dawe – Little Boy Blue
8. Lord Buckley – The Train

Side 2
1. Jeff Simmons – Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up
2. Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band – Old Fart At Play
3. The Mothers Of Invention – Valarie
4. GTO’s – Do Me In Once And I’ll Be Sad, Do Me In Twice And I’ll Know Better (Circular Circulation)
5. Frank Zappa – Willie The Pimp

Now in searching I noticed that "Refrigerator Heaven" appears in the other version
instead of "Reflected".
